Dharma Cafe in Houston?
North edge of downtown. Anyone know it? Thanks in advance.
We enjoyed the brunch on Sunday about two weeks ago. The food was delicious. A pasta with a creamy tomato sauce was the perfect texture and so flavorful. All of the ingredients were obviously fresh and good quality. The food was cool because of the a/c vents blowing on the steam tables, but that was our only complaint.
I'm so glad you bring this one up! This place is fantastic and I had the best experience there. It was referred to me by a very picker fellow that I cycle with, so when he told me that he took his girlfriend there and they both fell in love with it I knew I had to try it. I took my mother there for lunch after that and we both just couldn't believe how good the food and service was, and just how they pay attention to the details! If you are looking for a tremendous and unique food experience, I highly recommend going to Dharma Cafe, and if you plan on going to a show or art opening/gallery afterwards, you can let them know and they will make sure you get there on time but still have a fabulous meal.
We love, love this place. It's quaint and very different from restaurants in Houston. You feel it as soon as you step into Dharma. The owners are friendly and really care about their customers. The food is always fresh and prepared with great care. It's a limited menu but we've enjoyed everything we've had there. Lunch on the weekends and brunch outside is great. Dinner inside the restaurant at dusk is nice too. It's a special place. I can't recommend it enough.
