Thai tonight advice

Hey all, I was hoping you guys has some suggestions for a Thai place tonight. I am going to dinner with my boyfriend and his sister, both of whom are vegetarians, so there should be plenty of options. I know, I know, the best Thai food is all in the outer boroughs, but we were looking for a place in Manhattan (and below 30th) with food thats actually good. Thanks!

Prem-on is clearly a big cut above most every place in Mahattan. If you want upscale Thai, Kittichai is good stuff.

My favorite is "Tai Thai."
Not "by the book" Thai is: Kittichai.
Peep is good, too.

In Soho, I like Peep and Kin Khao. The former has modern decor and is bright and the latter is dark and candle-lit and has dishes organized by region. I think the food is above average at both places (I speak as a veteran of too many average take-out places in Hell's Kitchen)
