Mother's Day Brunch in OC
Hey All,
I know this Mother's Day Brunch has been discussed in years past, but I'm looking again so I thought I'd ask that we bring it back around! I'm looking for something very tasty as the first requirement. It would also be nice to have a little ambience and/or mommy fanfare. Something special, ya know? We live in Tustin, so the closer to that area the better.

You might check The Fairmont Hotel, The Island or Hyatt - all I'm sure will have Mother's Day Brunches. Hush had an Easter brunch, so I'm sure they'll have a Mother's Day. I'd check local papers - they'll probably have a listing soon, then we can help with which will be better...

I've always enjoyed Zov's on Seventeenth St (near Crab Cooker) in Tustin. They serve great Mediterranean food and beautiful pasteries. Though, they are a bit pricey.

I do love Zov's, but I guess I'm looking for some place that has an event for Mother's Day. I have actually been checking the Zov's website and hoping they would do something special, but it doesn't look like they're planning on it. Maybe I'll give them a call. 5 Crowns looks yummy, too, but their brunch menu doesn't have very many breakfast-y options. Thanks everyone, any more ideas?

I agree-- Ramos House is the best! But, it is no sceret and bound to packe jam-packed (they don't take rezzies), so prepare to wait and wander (no waiting seating or lounge). But the area is nice enough for strolling.
Also in SJC and prolly taking rezzies is L'Hirondelle for respectable French fare in a pretty vintage adobe right by the Mission.
You might try French 75 in the Tustin Marketplace.
