Place to host party of 30-40 in LES?

Does anyone know of a good place to throw a party of 30-40 people in the Lower East Side for cocktails and appetizers for 3 hours or so?

I am not really looking for a sit down dinner type of thing.

        Get the rooftop lounge at the Delancey (on Delancey right at the entrance of the Williamsburg Bridge) and ask them for local catering suggestions. The roof is really nice there, and the view is interesting since you're only one story up overlooking a very busy street. They do that kind of thing all the time, they've done catered sushi, dim sum, or bring your own ideas for food. OR go kitschy and ask them about their BBQ. In summers they used to have a Sunday BBQ from 2-7, and they have all the equipment there.

          I would recommend Jadis, on Rivington and Eldridge. It's a wine and cheese bar, and also has charcuterie plates, salads and sandwiches, plus a full bar. I know they have a separate room and patio that can be rented but I'm not sure what their capacity is. Here's a link:
