Chinese Cooking Classes - DFW?
Not chinese, but Thai. I recieved an email from Asian Mint, the cooking class info is below:
Last week, I went to the Millstone Culinary School on Knox. Can you guess what I was doing there? I’m preparing for my first culinary teaching class! I will be a guest instructor at Milestone Culinary Art Center on Tuesday, April 24th from 6pm-9pm. I’m going to have a hands-on class so you can learn how to make our Fresh Summer Rolls, Tom Yum Soup, and our famous Pad Thai. I am still deciding what I want to do for the dessert; it will be a surprise for you who are going to join me.
The cost is $89.99 per person and you will get to make it all (or watch if you prefer) and eat it too! I will also be serving a sample of different sakes and wines that compliment our food that night. At first the cost seemed high to me, but after attending a class, getting to eat everything, drink and learn how to make it, it was all well worth it.
For more details and to register for this class, click here or call 214- 526-3942. Space is limited to around 25 people, so don’t wait, register now! I will be honored to teach my secrets of Asian Mint cooking.
Are you looking for a specific type of class (like Cantonese vs. Szechuan cuisine?) or just general? I know the Sur la Table offers classes like Basic Wok Skills and others with an Asian theme. But they don't have anything specific. You can check out the schedule here: http://www.cmiregistration.com/user/o...
