After the Angel's Game......

tomorrow, Wed. April 4. Where should we go for a yummy meal. Jaegerhaus?
Or, ? Anywhere 'round the stadium or along our route home to the San Fernando Valley. Nothing fancy or too $$$. Just a really good meal.

What say you, hounders???

  1. Coming home from Anaheim, I often detour off the 5 at Atlantic and go to NBC Seafood. You will be too late for dim sum, but the regular menu is fine. Or you can keep going and go to any of the great Chinese places in Monterey Park or Alhambra.

Another option is the La Palma Chicken Pie Shop for chicken pot pies. It is north of the 5 at the Euclid exit. I've never been, but have heard good things about it.

    1. I would tell you too eat till you drop at the Stadium, Angel Staduim has some of the best food in Baseball. Go to the left/Center field family section and get a monster grilled dog and grilled corn. In the Middle innings go to the Sausage Haus for a Brat, and in the later innings get a ice cream cookie sandwhich, there won't be room left!

Oh yeh, you didn't specify day game, the 12:35p.m game is tomorrow. I would say stay in the OC and avoid traffic till 7ish, Jaegerhaus is not a bad idea, although I would head aout of the back entrance by the pond, make a right and a left a few miles up on Tustin Ave, left on Collins, and right immediately in to Grocery store parking lot where the best ribs in SOCAL are, Tulsa Rib Company!

Tomorrows game is 12:10P, I think. 12 something anyway. I don't eat anything 4 footed however, my SO will appreciate the dogs. Thx

      2. You got to hit Portillo's in Buena Park ..A bit out of the way from the stadium, but off the 91 freeway. Best Chicago dogs, and Italian beef sandwiches in Orange County.
I hear the burgers are good to.

not to mention for the non-carnivores that they also have salads and a grilled vegetable sandwich that my vegetarian (20 years) sister says is her favorite!

        2. Probably too late now, but try the Mexican place (Taqueria Las Mulitas) at Ball and State College, behind the car wash.

You're practically in my back yard!

Ooh, I've never heard of this place and I'm always game for a new taco joint. I'll have to keep it in my rotation when I'm in the area. Anything in particular you'd reccomend, DU?
