Looking for a healthy alternative to turkey burgers. Does anyone have a great recipe that combines grains and veggies? TIA

I haven't tried this recipe yet but it looks great. It's from Heidi Swanson's new cookbook, Super Natural Cooking.

This page listed recipes of award-winning veggie burgers. Admittedly I haven't tried them myself, but if you find any from here that you like please do post a review:

These look great! Thanks for the link. The recipes are actually for my MIL, but I may have to try some, they look so interesting.

Thanks for all your posts, will report back when either I make them, or my MIL let's me taste hers!

It's not a veggie burger, but what about salmon croquettes? Basically, mix a can of salmon with a couple eggs, some bread crumbs, some veggies (spinach or fresh peas are good), and spicing (italian, or sweet curry work well). Make into patties and pan fry. Lots of good protein! Great with remoulade sauce. Thank you.
