Po coming to smith street?

just read in timeout that Po, the place where i guess mario batali got pretty big, is now coming right to smith street. anyone eaten in the NYC one? im pretty psyched.

Was at paninoteca for a little food this evening and the Smitty sign is finally down. The door was open and the place is still heavily under development but I saw a large bar in place.

I also heard Alex Garcia will be taking over the reigns at porchetta. he was spotted checking out the exterior with the owner, is this just a rumor? Does anybody know anything about this?
