Italian in the east end?

So we're temporarily living in Pickering and while we are wholly enjoying the dearth of great Asian and West Indian food in Scarborough/Markham areas, I'm getting serious cravings for Italian food...

Can anyone recommend a nice place for Italian around Scarborough/Markham/Pickering/Ajax? Either something homey and warm like Regina Trattoria, or more high-end like Trattoria Giancarlo?
