You may also want to go to the California (not Bay Area) board and type
Mendocino meat (or Willits or Ukiah)as your search terms. A few things 
came up when I did that. I also used Google and more things turned up.

      <content>The website www.eatwild.com lists a number of small, California grass-fed meat producers, many of whom are on the North Coast.  Perhaps if you contact sopme of them, they can sell direct and/or advise you about where their products are available.

      <content>Try the Forks Market, on State St. north of Ukiah.

A bit further is my favorite, the Lakeview Market in Lucerne. Its a bit of a drive, but the meat is better than Safeway meat by a long shot.</content>

      <content>Lakeview Market is the best one around.  It's about 30 minutes from Ukiah, and worth the trip.  It's got a real butcher and they have great service.</content>
