Batifole - Wonderful!
I finally went, and loved it! Reminded me so much of places in Europe and Montreal. And great value - $16 mains were huge! I had the panfried veal liver, which was sublime, and my wife had the beef tenderloin poached in intensely herbed consomme and served with pommery mustard on the side, a really unusual presentation and absolutely delicious. Tasty, chunky fries and asparagus on the side, a nice bottle of wine. Just perfect.
Service was very professional and friendly, and our obvious enjoyment led to complementary digestifs at the end. I can't wait to go back. My new favourite restaurant.
