Lunch in Mendham, NJ

A friend and I will be in the Chester/Mendham/Bernardsville area next week and would like to try a new place for lunch. We are pretty familiar with the options in Chester and Bernardsville but know next to nothing about Mendham. Any good chowish places? We're not looking for a fine dining (or lunching!) experience, just something good and perhaps a little different. Maybe a local hangout? We're pretty much open to all kinds of foods.

I agree about the Black Horse Pub, it's just about the only game in town. If you haven't been yet, I'd recommend the lunch at Pierre's. It's only about 2.5 miles from the center of Mendham.

pierre's is a great choice. i totally forgot about that!

Yes, I'm quite familiar with Pierre's and may in fact be going there next weekend. I was hoping, however, that there might be some spots in Mendham we were not familiar with. May end up at the Black Horse Pub!

The pub at the blackhorse inn on mendham road is probably the place for locals in Mendham. The food is pretty good, but its strictly pubish!
