I will be travelling to Montreal for the Easter Weekend.
The purpose of my trip is to eat.

I'm looking for good food.

I already have reservations at Pied de Cochon and I already plan to eat at Schwartz's Deli.

I am thinking about pizza at Amelio's. I don't like thin crust pizzas so don't try and convince me otherwise.

Where else should I eat in Montreal for good Quebec food?

You'll find good Quebecois comfort food a.k.a. cuisine canadienne at Ma'am Bolduc on Delorimier and Marie-Anne in the Plateau. They also have some of the best poutine in town.

Another place for more traditional Quebecois working calls fare is Binerie Mont-Royal on Mont-Royal just east of Saint-Denis. There you'll find tourtiere, ragout de boulettes and pouding chomeur.

If you are willing to go to Amelio's, they you should consider Cafe Presto (there is a thread already started). They have the same hours as Amelio's and the food is better.
