Best place in Philly for Saturday Breakfast/Brunch?

Myself and my boyfriend will be in Philly overnight and are searching for a great place for Saturday breakfast/brunch. Would love a great place with not too long of a wait. If there are any BYO's for mimosas that would be great also.

Thanks in advance!

  1. If you like spanish food, Apamate is great for breakfast or lunch. Good egg dishes (frittataas, etc.) hoos spanish sandwiches. Amazing hot chocolate and churros. It is BYO and I'm sure it would be fin for you to bring a bottle of your favorite bubbly to mix with their OJ.

    1. If you don't mind getting up a little early (before 9), Sabrina's Cafe in the italian market does an excellent brunch. It starts to get really crowded around 10 am, but I usually get there at 8:30 or 9 and never have a problem.

I had heard Sabrina's, but I'm not sure if we'll be up before 9 on a Saturday lol

Any other suggestions? We also might need to do dinner tonight. Something funky and fun nothing to over the top.

Don't know where you'll be but Valanni is always good

      2. Our fave Saturday brunch spots are either Beau Monde, Continental or Marathon on the Square.

        1. This is probably a little late, but I guess it's ok for anyone else who might take a look at this post.

The White Dog cafe over by the UPenn campus is great. They have wonderfully ecclectic dishes in a range of prices. They're not BYO, but the bar is great.

Hope you enjoyed your stay in Philly, Jody. :)

I second White Dog Cafe. Always good. Always worth it.
