Anyone know where to get some in the Boston area?

So far:
Russo's—NO
Whole Foods (Beacon Hill and Cambridge)—NO
The Asian supermarket on Lincoln St.—NO

The fresh fruit is pretty elusive but we purchased some in our area (California) last week.. about $40.00 a lb. Your best bet is the yuzu juice mentioned in a few of the posts below. Most are pure, some have salt. Yuzu no sui is unsalted. Our gourmetsleuth supplier calls the seasoned version "yuzu vinegar" but it is in fact just yuzu with salt. If you have any contacts in the restaurant trade, a buyer may be able to find some for you.

I wonder too if Russo's would special order some for you.

Never seen the actual fruit but I know you can get the juice on line at gourmetsleuth.com or something similar.

kotobukiya has bottled "pure" yuzu juice (so says the label), though it's also got salt in it. i've used it for marinating fish, with success. haven't ever seen fresh anywhere.

        Hi

I have never seen them anywhere in Boston but what about trying the Japanese market in the Porter Exchange building. I think they have only started growing yuzu in the USA in the past couple of years and they certainly don't appear in many retail places. Good luck.

The japanese market in the Porter Square bldg does have bottles of the juice.
