So my boss is taking me and 3 others out to lunch and we want to take this opportunity to go somewhere good! We work near Bryant Park so where should we go???
Since the boss is paying, I'd vote for Le Bernardin. It's not really that far from where you are!
If you want to stay super local, Koi, at the Bryant Park Hotel is my go-to for a last minute client lunch. I wouldn't go on my own $$, or with friends, b/c it feels a bit corporate/cheese/LA, but as a freebie lunch, I always have a great time.
dbBistro Moderne, 4-star chef Daniel Boulud's upscale French bistro spot, is on 44th, b/t 5th & 6th.
I can't speak from personal experience, but a friend just recommended the lobster roll at the Croton Reservoir Tavern on 40th. Their steaks are also great.
