It is my understanding that they opened for lunch this week and will be open for dinner this weekend. Has anyone been there yet?

No, but I'd love to hear a report. Can't wait to go. When I called they said dinner would be served in about a month, not this weekend.
Strange, I posted about Armadillo about a week ago, a few people replied. Now, when you search for the post using "armadillo" it does not come up?

I noticed that. I guess they deemed it hype since it wasn't open at the time.

I just had a great lunch there. They will be opening for dinner in a couple of weeks. Lunch menu currently has four salads and some sandwiches. I tried the Roast Beef and Tillamook Cheddar on Ciabatta and the Turkey Club Croissant. Both were big and excellent. They also have Turkey and Sun Dried Tomato Wrap, Albacore Tuna, Chicken Salad, Grilled Portabello, Armadillo Monster (RBeef, Ham and Turkey)

Does anyone have the address and phone number of the Armadillo Beach and is it connected to the late lamented Armadillo Cafe of Davie?

Had another awesome lunch at Armadillo Beach. I doubt you will find a better gourmet sandwich in town. This is a must visit place. Really looking forward to their dinner menu.

They are open for dinner. Dinner menu looks great. You can view it on their site. I enjoyed the Black and White Soup and the Tequilla Grilled Shrimp Corn Cakes. The Yellowtail snapper and chocolate fritters were also good.

I went to Armadillo Beach for lunch last week. I had a blackened chicken ceasar salad and it was delicious. I don't think many people know its open for lunch, because there were only 2 other people in the whole retaurant. Granted it's not a huge place, but there were many a lot of empty tables. They just opened for dinner on the weekends.

The Kobe Beef Burger on the lunch menu was awesome. Hanger steak on the dinner menu was also a home run. Pass on the shrimp scampi and pappardelle pasta though.
