Where to find Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise

Does anyone know where I can purchase Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise? My local supermarkets don't stock it, nor does the Korean supermarket in K-town.

Thanks in advance.

As other hounds have mentioned, you can find them at every Japanese grocery stores as it is pretty much a staple for Japanese. All JasMart and Sunrise Market locations carry them. Most of the bigger Chinese / Korean grocery stores also have them.

Tastewise - I think they taste more "eggy", as Japanese often regarded mayo with high egg contents as the better one. It does a bit more "vinegary" too, though not too sour.

how would you characterize the product versus helmman's or other commercial mayo?

I find american brand mayonnaise more bland than Japanese mayo.
You can add rice vinegar to american mayo (i.e. ones without sugar) and it will taste
          similar to japanese mayo.

My local supermarket, C-town on 89th Street and 1st Avenue sells it.
They also stock Japanese snacks/candies and icecreams.

I saw it while I was shopping last week at JasMart on 23rd St., between Madison and Park.

I live right by a 24 hour grocery that stocks it -- St Marks Market, below Grand Sichuan/Chipotle, etc. East Village, it's on St Marks Place between 3rd and 2nd Ave.

The Asian foods aisle is on the far left hand side of the store as you walk in, next to the refrigerated section.

The Chinese supermarkets carry them. If you are near Flushing, HK Supermarket on Main St definitely has it.
