Sugarveil Confectionary

Has anyone tried this product yet?

http://www.sugarveil.com/

I just saw it mentioned on the Grinder, and thought it looked interesting. I'm not a huge fan of working with fondant (for taste reasons as well as others) and this looks like it could be a good alternative. Before I order any, though, I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who has actually used it before. Thanks in advance.

If you google it, it looks like she's selling a DVD of how-to.

After reading that Chowhound piece, I actually looked up the patent on uspto.gov. (Once you get to the image you have to click on 'full text' to get to the reading part.)

This looks really interesting. I'd love to hear how it works, too. I once tried to do calligraphy on a cake as a project for a calligraphy workshop (my avatar is the result--I'd love to go back to the generic avatar but can't, so I've left it), not trying just to write the words but to do a pressurized Roman hand. It was really hard doing it w/ colored white chocolate and didn't turn out as I had planned but this product would have made it easy. The cake was great, though!
