Boccaccio's in Westlake Village

Has anyone eaten at Boccaccio's in Westlake Village recently? I'm looking for a nice, but not overly pricey, place for a bridesmaid luncheon near the Westlake Village Inn. I've been advised to avoid the restaurants at the hotel, and Boccaccio's seems to have a nice ambience. Thanks!

We have eaten dinner there a couple of times recently and have enjoyed the food and found the service to be good. We have always liked the seafood offerings including the ahi, seabass, dover sole and the salmon strudel. It is a great setting around sunset by the lake. It has been over a year since we had lunch there, but the lunch menu is almost unchanged. It was good and not overly pricecy when we last had lunch. It was a nice day so we sat outside and enjoyed the view at lunch. We both had salads which were good. I have seen large parties at Boccacios, in fact, one evening they had tents outside for a wedding reception while we dined inside.

Great, thank you for the rec! Have you been to Mandevilla (as mentioned by foodseeker above)? If so, would you rec Boccaccio's or Mandevilla? Thanks!

We have not tried Mandevilla, but it is on our list of places in the area to try. Sounds like a good place from the website and the prior comments I have heard on this board.

Have you looked into Mandevilla? It's a great italian resto in Westlake Village - great food and there is also a really nice patio that would be perfect for a luncheon. Prices are also very reasonable.

Thanks for the rec - I just looked at their website. If you've eaten at both, would you recommend Mandevilla over Boccaccio's?
