Anyone heard of Noni juice from Tahiti?

I've run into a few people lately that are raving about this stuff, it supposedly does everything including curing cancer. I tried some and it tastes nice, very flower-y, I like it more than pomegranite juice anyway. I knew someone who was really into this stuff, but not so much for chowing reasons, more health reasons. They said it could cure all these illness and improve your immune system. I don't really buy into a "miracle" juice, and it seems too expensive to just have around for drinking.

I ordered this juice online because I heard it was supposed to be good for your digestive system. I couldn't even drink a second sip, it was the foulest liquid I have ever tasted. Drink at your own risk...

I think that company employs word of mouth sales technique, so the people who were raving about it probably want to sell it to you. They sell it crazy expensive ranging from $40 to $60. If you really want to try, Costco sells Noni Juice and I believe it's around $15.

I had a friend whose dad sweared by it, esp. for hangovers! He would make them drink a glass everyday. I never tried it though.

I tried it at a natural foods convention. The brand I had was pretty foul.

Yes, I am with you - I don't believe in any miracle food. Just because a fruit comes from Tahiti doesn't make it miraculous. I also had a woman try to sell me on Mangosteen juice at a similar exorbitant price with the same kind of spiel.

Bought it at a health food store. Couldn't swallow even a glass, and a fould odour to boot!
