I thought that there were places in the western valley... Reseda, maybe? Help me out, please.

They have a "hopper" night on Saturdays -- all you can eat buffet kind of thing. I've been very disappointed in the curries (all seem too oily and gross), but the hoppers are very good. IMO, their strongest in their rice packets and short-eats (patties, etc.). They also do catering.....

If you head out that way, you should stop by Sri Lankan Sweets and Spices (about 1/2 mile east on Ventura) ... it's a grocery store that features all sorts of Sri Lankan goods (sambols, chutney's etc.)

The Oracle -- Is Sri Lankan Sweets and Spices the same as Sri Lankan Delight that I just posted below? If not, have you been to both to compare?

yes, yes - my bad!!! got the name mixed up -- you've got the correct name.

      3. Also, don't forget the Sri Lankan Delight in a mini-mall on the South side of Ventura Blvd. and West of Reseda. It's a small market, but the owner is very friendly and they carry some very good brands, DM being one of them.
