@ Venice and Crenshaw. is it any good? I thought it was a cheap chinese place. According to the menu, it is not so cheap.

Not cheap at all, and not very good either.

Was it outright bad? Maybe. It was on the bottom end of mediocre. Almost 5$ (!) for 2 char siu buns. I got them because they had the baked kind, instead of the steamed kind, and that's my favorite. But I'm used to paying about 70 cents for one... Anyway I wouldn't mind paying more if they were good, but they were really weird.

They were like supermarket packaged rolls filled with a hilariously sparse quantity of meat. The meat was fine, just pork glazed with sauce. But the roll was really surprisingly bad and there was very little filling.

I also got Szechuan beef and steamed rice. That dish was fine. A bit oily, tasted "Chinese" to me. I'm no expert on Chinese food. If I went back, I'd order something else before reordering this. I wouldn't go back, however.

funny, you bumped this. I just had it the other day. Chandavkl was right, it's edible, that's about it.

Well the Orange Chicken is OK if that's what you're looking for. But there's nothing to distinguish this from any of the other Chinese fast food places along Crenshaw.

What if I wanted to order it one night for delivery? Would it do in a pinch?

What can you say about Chinese fast food in mid-city? It's edible.
