Finally got out there despite living almost walking distance. Really enjoyed it, I would not be surprised to find that some people regularly visit to hang out and taste.

The Eaux de Vie: I wanted to like these, but after the first sniff of fruit, all I could taste was the alcohol.

Whiskey: Excellent, smooth. I am not a whiskey drinker, but this stuff could change that. Cocoa and vanilla notes, very nice.

Vodka: Again, very smooth. I don't drink it straight but this I would.

Buddha's Hand vodka. They had a frozen bottle and it was great.

Kaffir lime vodka. I don't think they were too happy when I said (loudly, this was late in the sampling menu) that it reminded me of 7-Up. Not bad, but lacking the complexity that I would have hoped for from such an intriguing ingredient.

Mandarin Orange Blossom vodka. Fragrant. Yummy.

Raspberry vodka. Also tasty.

Pear Liqueur, Raspberry Liqueur. All good.

Tea liqueur. Infused with lapsang souchong tea, honey, and orange peel. Unusual and delicious.

Lance (behind the counter) also was prototyping a wasabi vodka infused with fresh roots, not the powdered or tube stuff. He waved around a small glass jar of this neon chartreuse liquid and allowed us to smell but not taste, as there was only a tiny amount. It was earthy, like shiitake. Hope it makes it into production, even if Oregon is the world's leading producer of fresh wasabi, it still isn't a lot.

Nice post. I didn't know they had so many products. I like the manderin orange the best so far, even better than the raspberry.

There's a recepticle on the counter for you to empty your glass. There are a lot of tastes and you can get pretty toasted if you empty each glass into your stomach.
You sample a variety of eaux de vie, vodka, grappa and their whisky.
Highly recommended.

Late update, they only ever made one commercial batch of the wasabi vodka. I don't know how well it sold, but I heard the manufacturing process produced a by-product not unlike mustard gas. Overwhelming, even with gas masks.
