Best Pizza in hollywood, glendale or burbank? looking for new york style-- very hard to find I say!

Vito's or Village on Larchmont (basically Hollywood). And La Buca on Melrose, surprised all the sycophants didn't jump on that already. With that said, it is pretty good.

The white pizza at Vito's is killer, the slices at Village probably the best value in the city.

The amount of responses here is overwhelming! I never knew there were so many Pizza freaks like myself! I cannot wait to try Vito's -- thanks for the responses!

cappriccio pizza on the south side of Hollywood blvd. near the intersection of Hollywood, Sunset, Virgil and Hillhurst. The best along with Farfalla. skip palermo unless you want severe disappointment.

            Had Nicky D's last night.

It was good, but a bit under cooked.

Check out Palermos in Los Feliz. All of their other stuff is below average but their pizza is to die for.

It is very good- but not "New york style" I must say.. But very good. I believe they must use provalone instead of Mozz.

The Pizza Rosa is 3 cheeses and roma tomatoes, that's all
Sausage , bell peppers and onions this is my standard
Palermos pizza is great cold the next morning

Keeping strictly within your limits, I'd have to say Dino's.

Not quite Hollywood, but Vito's on La Cienega below Santa Monica. The Best ! Now you have found the BEST NY Pizza in L.A. !

It's excellent. I like the veggie pizza and I don't usually like white pizza. The marinara is very good too.

Tried Vito's in the new incarnation on Sunday. They may have "refined" their recipes for the Weho audience a little, I'm afraid; (and the prices are up, but hey, they closed on Vermont, what, four/five years ago? so there's some inflation...) Still pretty darn good though, just not transcendent...

Actually, I'm about to go try Next-Door Pizza (downtown on 8th) again for comparison.

I thinks its only been 2 years, amybe 3 max. The pizza to me was as good as ever and you do pay for quality. Just glad a great guy with a great product is doing well, there is so much mediocre food/pizza out there. The place that replaced Vito's is so average. Vito's, Petrillos, Zelo's, 2 Guys from Italy (Hollywood & Las Palmas) for a good cheese or pepperoni slice, Nicky D's for the clam & bacon heart attack on crust and a new fav in Hacienda Heights Scardinos (take out only) http://www.sangabrielvalleymenus.com/.... Mange Mange, Pizza Bambino has spoken. I will try the new Il Carpaccioa & Mozza soon.

Are you the tall gentleman from the food network, i used to watch you all the time and really enjoyed you? I saw you at the old Vito's on 4 or 5 occasions.
