uptown Sunday dim sum with carts?

I remember reading about a place on the east side where you can get this. 36 weeks pregnant, craving dim sum, and not up for braving chinatown!

Perhaps you're thinking of Evergreen on 1st near 69th. It was awhile ago but I seem to remember carts on a Sunday morning (But not other times... especially when they deliver -:)

Yup. Henry's Evergreen, 1st Ave. & 69th St. is the place.

Our Place on UES is not good. No cart, and *not*authentic at all. China Fun has better tasting dim sum & selection (64th / 2nd), and even them are not as good as Chinatown. But I usually go there to satisfy my craving when I don't feel like going all the way downtown.

Last time I ws at Evergreen it was OK. Not up to the level it was at several years ago, but still the best dim sum in Manhattan north of Chinatown. Nice friendly people too.

are you sure it is not on the upper west side- because shun lee is there and they have dim sum with carts.
