Kosher L'Peshach Fox's U-Bet?

JRBlack Mar 26, 2007 06:32 AM

I haven't seen the K L'P U-Bet chocolate syrup yet. Before I go nuts looking, does anyone know if it's available this year? I didn't see any information on their website. I know there are other brands of chocolate syrup that are pesadik, but we're hoping to find the real deal.

I saw U-Bets in the Passover section of Giant in Baltimore, but I didnt notice a Kosher L'Pesach hecksher on it (although I didnt completely look since I'm trying to cut back on sweets)

At all the Baltimore area stores I've seen the KP U-Bet, it didn't actually have a KP on the bottle label, but a plastic wrapping around the top stating Kosher for Passover (sort of like the plastic KP wrapping around the tubs of KP whipped Breakstone's Butter).

I got mine at Stop & Shop last night...they did not have the old glass jars, they had the squeeze bottles. Good luck...I know it is not really Pesach unles syou have your Choclate Milk and buttered matza for breakfast.

You are bringing me back to my youth. In our case Fox's U bet and milk with buttered matzo and grape jelly(which you couldn't get in Canada during the year), and farfel cereal with cinnamon, sugar and milk.

I grew up with matzoh with strawberry preserves and cream cheese with my Fox's chocolate milk.

Where is your Stop & Shop? So far I've checked at Shoprite and Pathmark in Rockland County. My next trip may be to Wesley Kosher.

Staten Island...I know that does not help much. Yummy stuff.

BTW, did anyone else have/has cottage cheese w/ sour cream and onions on pesach?

I saw it at the ShopRite in Cherry Hill, NJ last night. Maybe check another ShopRite?

Hey, if we've got kosher l'pesach Fox's here in Minneapolis at our local Cub grocery store, it's gotta be in every little bodega out east. Yes! We too indulge in the cottage cheese/sour cream thing.
