Grimaldi's

BMartin Mar 25, 2007 04:35 PM

Went there last night for the first time in a while. The pizza was very good although a bit salty but I think it compares well with Denino's on Staten Island. But it took an awful long time to be served, and all the time there was very unpleasant music with a heavy bass beat--sort on insipid rock musak--playing. I"m not clear why they think everyone there likes that kind of music. Clearly the place has been taken over by a younger group.

We really did not have a pleasant experience and I'm sorry because I used to love the place.

Because every time someone posts about it CH removes it.

Someone mentioned they reopened on Friday but I'm not sure. I'd call before venturing out.
