mole paste you buy in Mexico supermarkets

In TJ supermarkets (and hispanic markets in San Diego) you can buy mole paste by the kilo. It is presented in larges pans, and maybe 3-4 different varieties. Does anyone know how to convert that into mole sauce? I think I remember being told to mix it with a little chcicken stock - and maybe the Mexican chocolate (I'm not sure it that's already in it). I'd appreciate someone's experience with it.

I will try it. It does seem very much like what I remember being told. I also like the idea of roasting the tomatoes for extra richness!
      Thanks!

fry onions and garlic, add the paste and loosen it with chicken broth
      adjust (chiles, chocolate, more chiles)
