Westside Restaurant with Private Room for 20-25

I am planning a 50th birthday part for my wife and would like to find a Westside restaurant with a private room that could accomodate 20-25 people.

I second the Chez Mimi recommendation. A friend of mine did her mother's 80th there. Staff couldn't have been nicer, the space was lovely and the food was very good. It's a great setting and a great atmosphere for a celebration.

I attended a bridal shower recently at Chinois..the private room next to the restaurant. There were 30 in our party.Chinois did a magnificent job. I have no idea as to the cost. Can just say that it was a great place for a private party and I highly recommend it.

I went to a great party at la cachette in the century city area. the food was amazing and the staff was really on top of everything. the host of the party was so happy...we were a group of 28 i think..it was private too.

Chez Mimi on 26th St just South of San Vicente. Lovely intimate back room with a lovely patio for hors d'oeuvres before dinner. Food is very good. Not overly expensive. They give you several choices for each course for your guests. Their Tomato Bisque is a winner.

Just guessing but probably around $50 with a couple of drinks, It is probably different for private parties. I had my birthday there in that private room just over a year ago, but my hubby paid the bill. And I was there last Sat. nite for a private birthday party for a good friend who wanted to go there because of my party.

Your right, it is different for a private party. For a Saturday night it is $75 per person before tax, tip, and all beverages. So if everybody averages 2 glasses of wine & 1 cocktail, then you'd better be prepared to pay: $75 + $22 + Tax & Tip = $124 per person (or more).

No particular cuisines, somewhat upscale woudl be good, Upstaris 2 is worth looking into, thanks
