Any info if there are any markets that carry kosher cheese and naknik (Israeli hot dogs)? Is Holy Land Market on St. Marks still open?
The Morton Williams/Associated on Bleecker St. and Lagurdia used to sell a relatively larger selection of kosher cheese (given that it's a regular supermarket) and Israeli meat things. I have no idea if Naknik is part of the inventory.
The Food Emporium in Union Square (still there) carried an above-average selection of kosher cheeses when I lived in the Village.
I was at the Holy Land market last week and they were open and getting set up for Passover.
