On Rt. 29 in Fairfax. I know it's a specialty store, but by chance do they serve food there, other than to go??

Is this the place on the strip just a bit outside Falls Church, near Italian Cafe, Elevation Burger, Victor's, etc.? The one that has a banner "HOT BRATS TO GO" outside during the week? That sign always made me think of a late night soft teen porn movie.

Or is there a similar place in "real" Fairfax?

At certain times they serve brats, I think certainly on the weekend, but that's about it. Certainly though you can get some black forest ham, bread, cheese, mustard, etc and make a sandwich in your car!

I was there a couple of weeks ago and altho the place expanded a tiny bit, I didn't notice any tables.

BTW, if you've never tried it, their German potato salad is terrific.

How could they expand? Did the florist move out?

Ditto to the German potato salad. We love the Swiss bratwurst.

It looked like they expanded a few feet to the left of the cash register. Maybe it was always like that and I never noticed. LOL!

The little wrap around? Yeah, it's always been there. Tight place, especially on weekends and even more during the holidays.
