We were looking for somewhere with good Mexican food for a friend's birthday, and were recommended to this place, which is in Columbia Heights. We had booked a table for 15, but as it turned out, this was pretty much the whole restaurant! The only menu available was in Spanish, but between those of us who speak Spanish, and the kindness of the waiter, who also appeared to be in charge, we were ok. Most of us ordered either tacos or burritos; there was a wide range of options for filling, including goat, tripe and tongue, as well as your standard chicken! The food was incredible. Unanimously agreed on as the best Mexican we'd had in DC, possibly ever! It was also very cheap, but great value.

If you are looking for good, fast, Mexican food, in an informal setting, then this is your place!

Next time you are there try the agua frescas (Hibiscus, Tamarind, Horchata, Melon, Cashew).
