Somethin' Different Pizza in Morris Plains c. 1985?

I was at St. E's in the middle 80's, and we used to make late night runs to this place in Morris Plains...right off 202.

Does anyone else remember it?

I'm getting ready to go back to visit and I'm wondering if it's still there, I don't see it listed in directory inquiries.

Could it have been Amelio's on Hanover Ave.?

No, but thank you anyway. It was this weird little spot in a storefront with maybe two other stores on the east side of 202, just outside of Morristown and way before you hit 10.

I am sure of the name because I was the only one with a credit card, and my Dad had a heart attack over $150 worth of pizza in one month. I can still hear him in my head, (and, when he likes to rag on me at holidays, because what are the holidays without guilt? ; P ) "Something Different Pizza, I'll give you Something Different Pizza, I don't work night and day so you girls can pig out on pizza non-stop! Something Different, my ***!"

It was really funky pizza, as I remember.

Although the location is still a pizza type joint it is not Somethin' Different anymore. What a blast from the past! I grew up in Morris Plains and forgot about that place. I'm not sure when they closed. I used to work at the Friendly's right next to it when i was a kid.
