Hello,
We are looking for fine choclate in Vancouver. The good stuff, the really good stuff! We want to go beyond Poulin and Lindt, we are looking for Valrhona, Scharffen-Berger, Pralus, Guittard to name a few. Anyone have ideas about where we could buy thses brands in Vancouver? I know we can order on line if worse comes to worst, but seeing them before buying is part of the fun.

Thanks.

The Gourmet Warehouse on Hastings and Clark has high end chocolate. I've seen Scharffen-Berger and Valrhona there.

if you are looking for those specific brands, Urban Fare in Yaletown carries a lot of them. Have you tried Meinhardt Fine Foods on Granville? I can't remember exactly what they have, but they will definitely carry some of those. Chocolate Arts chocolates are amazing, definitely worth trying out.

The BC store at Granville Island has some great chocolate bars of interesting flavours. Not the brands you requested obviously, but still fun to check out.

Chocolate Arts on 4th Avenue has several brands of high end chocolate bars, plus some great truffles. I love a good truffle WITHOUT alcohol (I'd rather have the booze on the side).
