I adore Elias on 31st nearish to Hoyt Avenue. I haven't been there in a few years so I hope it's still there. The whole thing- from the fantastic, fresh fish to the abrupt, yet warm service makes you feel like you are in Greece!

Check out a new-ish place on 30th ave and 34th street called Ovelia.

        Tell me more.
I have tickets to the Lucinda Williams show tomorrow night.
We were thinking of stopping in Le Incontro for some baby octopus(Friday in Lent) and some risotto on our way into the city.

Don't know if they serve spanakopita but Kyclades on Ditmars is known for their fish.
We were there last summer and really enjoyed the chow.
We had some great grilled octopus at Stamatis on 23rd Ave. last week.
        Regards,
        JK
