Catering Services for Nonprofit in Lincoln Heights

Silver Lake Guy Mar 21, 2007 10:26 AM

We've been having trouble finding reliable, affordable restaurants/caterers that offer some variety for groups that range from 12-24 on given weekdays and will deliver to County-USC area. My folks are usually open to traying all kinds of food from Thai to Italian to standard sandwiches/salads. Would love to build a file on places if y'all have some suggestions.

You might want to give LA Baking Company a call. They're right there in Lincoln Hts on N. Broadway and the 5 freeway. I've been to several catered events that they did and it was really good. And everything in their bakery is yummy!

If you don't mind Hawai'ian food, try Aloha Food Factory in Alhambra (which is an easy drive up the 710/10 fwys). They cater and deliver.

You might check out Homegirl Catering - on Homeboy Industry's website. I think primarily Mexican food, but I haven't asked for anything else. They're not too far from you and maybe if you gave them a regular gig the non-profit to non-profit pricing would be favorable. They're a terrific organization and the food is good.
