Anyone tried Ontaria in Costa Mesa?

I hope I am even spelling the name correct. It's on Bristol just down from the Anti Mall and the Camp towards Newport. Is it any good?

  1. Spelling is Onotria. You should be able to do a search on the board and find several reviews.

Went about two months ago for dinner and had the agnolotti with white truffle. Excellent but indulgent. Mr. Brunette had the venison which was also outstanding. A bit of a splurge; only complaint was the acoustics are quite tinny but that might be better or worse at lunch. I'd recommend it.

    1. The wife and I have been four times. We have yet to be dissapointed. We usually have an appetizer, cheese course, split a pasta and each order a meat or fish dish. I had an incredible osso bucco last time there.

      1. Onotria was OK when we went but it wasn't great.
We ordered several dishes which were Good to Average.
For OC it's not bad but compared to LA's Angelini Osteria(9+) it's a 5 on the 1-10 scale.
I still laugh when I think of the Chef's Coat inscribed with something like "Master Chef", give me a break?
