Just curious...a car near my house in Pasadena has an "I Heart Tacos Villa Corona" bumper sticker...

while some are emphasizing the affordability of TVC, the bottom line is these gals do a killer taco. slow food, though. don't go in a hurry. wait for greatness. agree with sel...potato and especially potato with egg...really good.

sat next to the drummer from ani de franco last time i was there.

I'm guessing that it's not " ' Taco Villa' in Corona", but "Tacos Villa Corona"
(or as it's apparently known to the Chow-Pup and others in the 'hood: "Tacos Villa Corona, DUUUDE!" (think Sean Penn in "Ridgemont High"). ) It's a taco stand in Atwater Village. Short hours, limited menu, no place to sit inside, low prices tasty food.
      What's not to love?

Actually, Tacos Villa Corona is in Atwater, on Glendale Blvd. they are a teeny tiny taco stand that is owner operated and only open for lunch. They have a super basic menu, and their burritos are to die for. 3815 Glendale Blvd, 90039. Near Kaldi and Cafe Baracoa. If you are in the mood for some Carne Asada, I say go for it!

It's been quite a while since I stopped there but I recall some really good Potato Tacos! Not something that you find very often in L.A.

Villa Corona Potato and Egg Burrito! I would drive across town in rush hour for one of those!

Thanks guys...the way the bumper sticker is layed-out, it looks like a restaurant in Corona. Being that we live close, I'll have to give it a try!

While the breakfast burrito is the best in the area and is my favorite pre-saturday morning errand-run indulgence; two other standouts are the steak torta and the chicken quesadilla, which is nicely spiced.... The prices are super-low btw....

totally low prices. my fave is the asada potato quesoand spinach burrito. their hot sauce is to spicy for me, but that isn't sayin much. enjoy!
