Happy find near Dupont Circle

Stuck in DC this past weekend due to cancelled flight. Had a very good meal at Urbana. it is connected to the Palomar Hotel. Kind of N. Italian/French. Duck fat fries were to die for. Very effecient and simpatico staff.

This might all change fairly soon thought. From my understanding the chef at Urbana is leaving....so we'll see if the food follows. I myself have yet to eat there even though its within walking distance to my bf's apartment.

Urbana is good for what it is- a nice, albeit pricey, wine list and a nice atmosphere. Food is decent and a few things are great, but nothing is outstanding. Perfect for what you wanted and needed :)
