Where can I get fresh Dragon Fruit in or around Boston. I have looked at Russo's, Super 88,and Whole Fuds at Fresh Pond, no dice at any of those three. Any help is appreciated

Formaggio in Cambridge had it this past fall. They were beautifully hot pink on the outside and white on the inside. The flavor was very good (although not as good if you were to eat it in SE Asia). I chatted with the fruit guy recently and they are planning on carrying it, as well as other exotic fruits (including lychees, longans and pomelo), soon.

It's a bit of a hike from Boston, but I've seen these in Battambang in Lowell.

the question is, why would you want dragon fruit? it looks pretty cool, but tastes like a bland kiwi. however, trader joes does carry dried dragon fruit.

The dragon fruit I had was wonderful.. not bland at all. Tried the TJ's dried - now that was nasty!
