Someone once gave me a jar of pasta sauce from a grocery in Boston's North End - they made their own. I have long since lost the name of the shop.
Does anyone know it? Wouldn't mind ordering a few jars.
That may have been Monica's Salumeria on Salem Street. I believe they stopped bottling a while back and now sell them in plastic containers. Her sauces are great, I used to give them to everybody when I lived in the neighborhood.
I agree with Pasuga, it was probably Monica's Salumeria on Salem.
