Where to buy goat's meat in downtown TO?

I know there must be 1000 places to buy goat's meat. I want to make goat curry - so I don't need a high-quality cut. Where can I buy goat's meat - downtownish (kensington, annex, etc)?

Let me know, and I'll have you over for curry! :-)

  1. Kensington Market is the right place to look: there's a butcher just across from Global Cheese and the Mendel Creamery (east side of Kensington Avenue or street or whatever it is...the one with all the clothing shops closer to Dundas) which frequently has entire goats dangling from hooks in its front window.

Yep, that's where I go for goat too.

I once bought it from the QQ Loblaws too, but haven't seen it in a year.

Third... that's where we sourced the goat bits for Mr. Rabbit's goat curry.

    2. Middle eastern and Indian groceries should carry goat. Often it is sold in bags of frozen cubes, bone and all. Since bone adds flavor to the stew, that is a good thing. It just makes eating the curry a bit more interesting.
