  1. It's fantastic. I went for Dim Sum a few weeks ago and loved it. Nice, huge room, great service, and fine dim sum. I believe James Chatto wrote about it in Toronto Life a few months ago too.

    1. This restaurant has seriously degraded.

They changed their menu to an all-you-can-eat format, reduce the food selection at the same time and they only have 3 selections in tea. They restrict your eating time to 1.5 hours, but with the terrible serive that isn't enough time to eat.

When we ordered it took 20 minutes to get food. When I ordered 3 of one dish, only one comes and it's cold! When I ask for a follow up on the missing dishes, it takes them another 15 minutes to get back to me.

The markers they use to order food are dry and I asked 3 times for a new marker. When one staff took it away and didn't return I asked another waitress. She said each table only gets one marker and said they didn't have extras. They accused me of losing/stealing their marker and said they would charge me $10 for the missing marker.

The staff is poorly trained, rude and unhelpful. This was truly the WORSE dining experience I ever had.

We paid over $220, sat for 2.5 hours and left hungry and unsatisfied!

Wow, what a timely post, we were going to try it out this weekend but changed my mind after reading this. Thanks!

We had gone a few months earlier, thankfully, before this lowering of standards, but even then we were not overly impressed either by food or service - Congee Queen, Dragon Dynasty, Tanchikee et al our old faves are much better...

I've been twice since they switched to all you can eat and the service has been great. When we mentioned missed orders, the waitress followed up on it right away. The food is ok, not fine dining. But a good deal for $11 if you can have all you can eat xiu long bao (for the kids) and all sorts of cold appetizer you would normally order a la carte for.

Not superior in taste but good value if you want to try dim sum, shanghainese, thai and have fried rice and noodle all at one sitting. I would rather have this than go to China Buffet King any day.
