emergency for 16 people

I wanted to go to Noodle Pudding for my birthday dinner, but now they say they can't serve 16 at once, on the regular menu. Any ideas for great food for that many people in brooklyn, for Tuesday night? Thanks.

  1. I sounds like a broken record but try Convivium Osteria. Likely you'd get the entire downstairs wine cellar to yourself. Search this board for my old post on the subject 2 or 3 years ago.

    1. I absolutely agree with Convivium--but if that doesn't work for some reason, Tempo was very accommodating for us with a large group. And, for a more informal place, I think Downtown Atlantic can also handle the crowd and do a nice job.

      1. The Grocery on Smith Street is a wonderful place for a dinner that size, but because the place is small, it may be difficult to fit you in on sich short notice. Still, they are very nice there and, particularly if you are willing to arrive early, they may be able to accomodate you.
