Hi eve and dkstar1,

Slightly off topic here, now that you two highly recommend this Gewurtztraminer juice, I am very intrigued and am wondering if you know any stores that sell it. I have been to EMP quite a few times and probably will visit only after they choose some dishes in the menu. Any ideas where I can try out this juice?

By the way, thanks for your wonderful reviews. You two made the Manhattan board so much for interesting to read!

Quick, before the moderators catch us--Thank you first of all--it takes a village or the CH community to make this all possible (and dkstar1 is the real star here). Honestly, I haven't gone looking for the juice in stores. A friend asked for it last week at EMP and was told that a distributor found it for them. But, now I am on the lookout. I will create a new post if I find anything of use.

I'm intrigued. I haven't tried this stuff, but here's a link to the source:

Anyone else out there tried this? Does it taste like wine or welch's?

I spoke with the sommelier at BLT Prime last night...he's having a very hard time getting it...He mentioned that Navarro is the only producer of it...so expect it to be hard to find for quite some time (and expensive).

          Hey everyone,
I know this thread is more than 6 months old, but it made me very curious - what is this Gewurtz juice everyone is talking about? My first thought when I heard it was that you all were talking about Gewürztraminer, one of my favourite sipping wines, an aromatic white, but obviously you guys are talking about something nonalcoholic.
I couldn't find the post kobetobiko was referencing, so I thought I would ask.

          Thanks in advance!

Thanks for locating this source. It tastes like neither, exactly. Perhaps, more like the best of both. Not too sweet either. I really tasted the grape. And it was refreshing on it's own and went well with an array of entrees. Perfect at lunch.

MMMmmmm. Just got back from Jean Georges' lunch. Finally tried the Gewurtz juice. Almost like equal parts honey and grape. Best way to describe is the essence of the wine without the alcohol. It was a perfect substitute for dessert.
