I've been a big fan of Rangoon for many years, but I just had to add a post about just how good it is. I went there Friday night with a group and for apps we had the thousand layer bread w/ potato curry and lentil fritters--everything was piping hot and super tasty. For main dishes we had kung pao chicken, chili shrimp, jungle tofu and n.burmese noodles--every single dish was exceptionally good--wonderfully distinct flavors, piping hot, and delicious. For dessert we shared a sticky coconut rice w/ banana. Just wonderful. The staff is super efficient and friendly. I would say the only negative is food comes out too fast. Other than that? Perfection.
