PGA National Area
Well the in-laws did it. They bought a condo at PGA National. Travelling down there next week with family....teen aged kids...Looking for restaurant suggestions. Would prefer to avoid chains if possible. American, Italian, Mexican, any ethnic is fine.

Ebisu Japanese is in the shopping center right at the entrance to PGA National. Very good.
Also check out Downtown at the Gardens, the new open-air shopping mall located at Alternate A1A and PGA Blvd. Lots of good restaurants. I hear good things about Rosa Mexicano, particularly.

Check out Vic & Angelo's on PGA Blvd. for Italian food and great pizzas. Sit outdoors, enjoy a quartino of wine and play a game of bocce. Cafe Chardonnay is across the street from VIc & Angelo's and has been a classic on the restaurant scene serving very good continental cuisine. For the best seafood in the area drive to Jupiter and go to Little Moir's Food Shack. Get one of the crusted fish and order the grouper cheek appitizer and you won't be sorry. The atmosphere is a casual and beachy, kind of surf kitch. They don't take reservations, but it is definitely worth the wait. Good luck.
