Has anyone been to Kiva on Steeles, near Bathurst? They're seem to have a large vegetarian selection.
For mrsleny: The waffles of my childhood were about one-half the thickness of Belgian waffles.
Ahh Kiva Bakery..I used to spend so much time travelling there for the waffles and the friendly ambiance..now that you reminded me..need to go back for another blueberry waffle..
Are they old-fashioned waffles or the ubiquitous Belgian waffles? I love the old style size of waffles, but nobody seems to make them anymore and I can't even find a waffle-maker that isn't for Belgian waffles.
Stupid question but what's the difference between old fashioned and Belgian?
Only for bagels. They're good, too...almost as good as Bagel World.
