Sunday lunch near Ferry Building

I'm looking for suggestions for Sunday lunch for 6 near the Ferry Building. We will be taking the ferry over from Oakland so need to be within walking distance. Price doesn't matter but would like to avoid ethnic and focus on seafood. Thanks in advance.

My husband and I were in SF this early this week. We both enjoyed our dinner at The Slanted Door. I believe they are open for lunch as well. Definitely worth the trip!

Too bad Boulevard doesn't serve lunch on the weekends.

Hog Island would be my first choice.

Monte Cristo Cafe, right across the street, was good last time I went but they may have had a chef change since. http://www.montecristocafesf.com

My experience at Marketbar was just okay, and reports here have been for the most part similarly lukewarm.

Well for a light lunch and seafood there is Hog Island int the Ferry Building. Mainly oysters but a few things like ... sigh ... 'clam chowder' ... really a bowl of steamed clams.

I've read positive things about MarketBar.
